Roboto is a space completely run by volunteers and we're always grateful for more people to get involved. We are currently exploring different volunteer structures to find the most effective way to organize interest and to work together to sustain the venue. What does it mean to be a member?

Roboto believes that music and punk rock are about community.  Roboto exists as a space to support these communities.  By becoming a member you are choosing to help us support these communities.  Roboto members get discounts on events, can put together events at the space, get a vote in the operations of the project and can choose to run for one of the leadership positions at Roboto.  There are many reasons to become a member and as a cooperative you get to help decide what Roboto is and what it will become. YOU determine what it means to be a member.

Standard Membership

The cost of membership is $25.  Members must renew every 12 months for $10. 

The following are the rights of Roboto members:

• Members receive an official membership card.
  
• Members are able to book events for the discount price of 25% of money made at the event. 
  
• Members receive $1 off admission to all events at Roboto.
  
• Members are able to vote for and run for board member positions in elections.
• Members receive discounts at various local businesses.

Lifetime Membership

The lifetime membership offers the same rights and privileges as a standard membership; however, lifetime members never need to renew.  The cost is $100 (current members can upgrade their membership to a lifetime membership for $85.)  Lifetime members may also receive occasional gifts (pins, stickers, mugs, free show passes, or other such items) in appreciation of their commitment to Roboto.
